Courtroom & Lawyering is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal published by Lembaga Contrarius Indonesia. It publishes three issues annually—in April, August, and December. The journal aims to provide an international academic platform for the study of judicial practices in civil cases and the broader development of the legal profession, including lawyering, mediation, and related areas.
Courtroom & Lawyering features case studies concerning civil disputes within various courts, including religious courts, general courts, and the Supreme Court. While the journal focuses primarily on issues of private law, it also welcomes research on legal practices related to the legal profession, such as those involving judges, mediators, and lawyers.

We warmly invite contributions from scholars across related disciplines. However, priority is given to manuscripts that present novel insights or address contemporary issues.
Manuscripts that do not adhere to the submission guidelines or follow a different format will be automatically rejected prior to editorial review. Only manuscripts that comply with the specified formatting requirements will be considered by the editorial team.

All submissions must be made through Courtroom's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Submissions via email are strictly not accepted.

The editorial team does not issue a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) separately. An LoA is only provided in the form of an official notification of acceptance for publication.
