Courtroom & Lawyering employ double-blind peer review process  which is designed to ensure objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Both the identities of the authors and the reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.

The standard procedure follows these steps:

1. Submission
   Authors submit their manuscript through the journal's online submission system. To maintain anonymity, the manuscript must be free of any identifying information, including names, institutional affiliations, or acknowledgments that could reveal the authors' identities.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
   The editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment to ensure the manuscript meets the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and minimum academic standards. Manuscripts that do not comply may be rejected at this stage without peer review.
3. Assignment to Reviewers
   Once the manuscript passes the initial screening, the editor assigns it to two (or more) qualified reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. Reviewers receive an anonymized version of the manuscript, and they are not informed of the authors’ identities.
4. Peer Review Process
   Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, theoretical and methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field. They submit detailed reports and recommendations (e.g., accept, revise, or reject) to the editor.
5. Editorial Decision
   Based on the reviewers' reports and recommendations, the editor makes a decision. The decision, along with anonymized reviewer comments, is communicated to the authors. If revisions are requested, authors are expected to resubmit a revised version within the given timeline.
6. Revision and Further Review (if applicable)
   Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for a second evaluation to ensure the concerns raised have been adequately addressed.
7. Final Decision
   After satisfactory revision and review, the editor makes a final decision on the manuscript. If accepted, the paper proceeds to the production and publication stage.

Throughout the process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to promote unbiased and constructive feedback, uphold academic integrity, and avoid potential conflicts of interest.
