Focus and Scope

JSDERI aims to provide an international academic forum for cross-border legal research in sustainable development studies from broad perspectives. It pays close attention to the context of developing countries.

JSDERI covers regulatory issues for sustainable development at global, national, regional, and local levels. The journal addresses regulatory issues on poverty, hunger, health, education, gender, water, energy, and economic growth. JSDERI also welcomes legal research in environment (waste, air, and soil pollution), rural planning, urban planning, regional economics, enforcement methods, government tort liability, freedom of information, state finance, and legal justice.
